CMS students win three Gold medals in Yoga competition  

Lucknow, September 1 : Three students of City Montessori School, Chowk Campus namely Angel Anand, Mridul Kashyap and Umme Farwa have brought laurels to the institution by winning three gold medals in the inter-school Yoga Competition. The event was organised in Kanpur under the aegis of Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE). This information was given by the Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma. He added that these CMS students notched the top position in under-17 category with an extraordinary display of performing various yoga asanas amidst a tough competition, which also involved participation of students from various prestigious schools of UP and Uttarakhand. They also won the runners up title in the competition and  will now participate in national level competition which will be held in Ranchi, Jharkhand. CMS Founder, Dr Jagdish Gandhi congratulated these talented students and encouraged all the students to regularly perform Yoga for good health and fitness.

            Mr Sharma informed that CMS always encourages its students to excel in various fields as per their interest. Apart from the academic field, the students are achieving success in various national and international level competitions. CMS believes that yoga is a part of our great cultural heritage, however, in view of the present lifestyle, it is the utmost responsibility of all of us to make the future generation aware of yogic activities so that the establishment of a healthy and prosperous society can be possible.
